Marketing Manager

Noonday Collection uses fashion and design to create economic opportunity for the vulnerable by harnessing social selling entrepreneurs across the US that we call Ambassadors. Ambassadors create a marketplace for our artisans by hosting in-home Trunk Shows where they style and share the powerful stories behind the pieces. Noonday caters to fashionable, creative, and globally-engaged women who are curious and aspire to impact the world.

We are searching for a Marketing Manager – someone who helps serve as the "voice of the organization" to the outside world, advancing the business’ interests and presenting it in the best possible light. The Marketing Manager will organize campaigns, drive content strategy and collaborate with internal and external clients to deliver Noonday’s messages to the public and the media. Passion for the betterment of the world is also essential.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align marketing efforts with business metrics for each selling season as well as marketing goals – such as Join, Host or Shop
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ideate and define campaigns and overarching content strategy
  • Partner with sales, product and channel marketing to align corporate communication plans
  • Grow an engaged audience via public social media channels, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter
  • Develop influencer relations, including the nurturing of existing relations and the pursuit of new relationships, with the intent of increasing awareness of the Noonday brand
  • Secure speaking opportunities for Noonday’s CEOs
  • Submit Noonday into award or recognition opportunities
  • Validate partnership requests and following up on those that meet Noonday's partnership criteria
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services team in design, copy, image, and content needs in the development of promotional activities
  • Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects

 

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS THESE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4-6 years of related experience in marketing
  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate social media channel management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

 

AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Highly skilled storyteller, writer, editor and content strategist
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members
  • Experience with social media and brand positioning
  • Ability to multi-task on competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
